Russian scientists have developed an apparatus able to define cancer tumor delimitations, and therefore its surgical removal would be more effective, reported Kirill Belik, the assistant manager of the Novosibirsk Research Institute of the Medical Engineering (NRIME). “Today the most effective method of treatment of oncological deseases is surgical one, and a chemotherapy and other treatment methods are mainly used as additional”, Belik said.
