Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev have started the practical realization of two large power projects in Moscow. The Russian president and the Greek prime minister have agreed upon the long-term cooperation in oil pipeline Burgas – Alexandrupolis and gas pipeline South Stream construction. The Russian ruling party president candidate has taken part in the official putting into operation of South-Russian gas deposit ceremony.

They have got an access to Kurdistan oil deposits. This is for the first time after Saddam Hussein regime falling in Iraq that the company with the Russian investments has got an access to oil and gas resources of the country. The Kurdistan authorities have informed about the PSA agreement signing with Norbest Limited (that is close to TNK-BP). It is about the Russian company stockholders structure. The branch experts consider that the project prospect can warrant its high risks.

The French company “Eurotek Ltd co.” will extract oil and gas at the Yamal. As it was reported today in the territorial agency on subsurface management on the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YNAD), the company has won the auction on the right to use the reserves of Zapadno-Kaminnomiskiy and Ladertoyskiy hydrocarbonic areas. The reserves of Zapadno-Kaminnomiskiy area, as evaluated by specialists, make 9 million tons of oil, 24 billions of cubic gas meters, 3 million tons of gas condensate. The extracted reserves of hydrocarbon of Ladertoyskiy area make 2,7 million tons of oil, 2, 915 billions of cubic gas meters. The winner is given the right to use the bowels of areas with the purpose of geological exploration, prospecting and extraction of hydrocarbon raw material for a term of 25 years, including the geological exploration of bowels within 5 years.

According to experts’ estimates, reserves of hydrocarbon raw material in the deposits of Yamal peninsula and in the offshore shelf are totaled trillions cubic meters. Gas workers already went out at Yamal. Twice. And both times the powerful gas-bearing layers of peninsula remained untouched. At the end of the 1970th — in the beginning of the 1980th the prospect of development of northern deposits was eclipsed by the power of Medvezhye and Urengoy fields. Soon the whole world spoke about Yamburg. The output from fields of Nadym-Pur-Taz area of Russia was enough to cover internal needs and meet foreign consumers’ engagements.
