Great Britain helps Russian medium companies to attract investments

   Great Britain aims to render assistance to the medium companies of Russia in attraction of finances by means of securities placement on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of London, the largest world stock exchange for small companies.

   British Embassy in Moscow gave financing for holding two seminars in Moscow and St. Petersburg, due to which the Russian companies will receive the necessary knowledge and practical experience for securities placement on AIM, and will also learn what it can give the Russian business.

   The special educational program – Entrance to the international financial markets of London – will give those companies that are interested in attraction of international investments detailed information about those requirements that business should correspond to at preparation to securities placement on AIM. In addition, on seminars also will be told about other forms of the corporate financing and about how the Russian enterprises can attract these facilities, including general depositary receipts, direct investments, and how companies can decrease their dependence from currency fluctuations, acquiring raw material for business.

Seminars will pass under the auspices of theRussian Agency for Support of Small and Medium Business and Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
