PLC “IGC-4” signed a contract for building two power generation units on the basis of 400 MW CCGT (combined cycle gas turbine) unit in the branch of “Surgut STPS-2” with a consortium consisting of General Electric International Inc.
(the USA) and Gama Guc Sistemleri Muhendislik ve Taahhut A.s. (Turkey).
The general contract was signed by the sides’ representatives including engineering, equipment and materials supply, building and bringing into the operation of two single-shaft CCGT units with electric power 400 MW each.
The contract price made 363,7 million euro and 299,5
million dollars.
In August 2007 the consortium of General Electric and Gama was declared the winner of the opened competition at the choice of general contractor of project on creation of replacement capacity in the volume of 800 MW on the base of two 400 MW CCGT units of “Surgut GRES-2” branch of PLC “IGC – 4”. The contract was approved by the extraordinary meeting of shareholders of PLC “IGC – 4”.
This investment project is put in the list of primary grounds for the input of generating powers in the s ingle electric power system of Russia.
The input of two 400 MW CCGT power units on “Surgut GRES-2” in exploitation is planned for the second half of 2010.
The total price of project realization makes about 30 milliard of rubles, reported in press-service of PLC “IGC – 4”.
