Experts predict IPO boom of the Russian IT companies

“Russian IT market grows quicker, than telecommunication service, and should interest investors”, declared Andrey Sharonov, Troika Dialog managing director. In 2002-2006 the  market grew on the average by 22% annually, and in the nearest years, expects Sharonov, it will continue to grow by 20-25% per year.

Meanwhile the stocks of only three Russian IT companies are traded on the market – IBS, Armada and Sitronics. According to the data of Bloomberg, on November, 12 investment banks estimated the IBS fair value on the average by 52% higher than the market one, Armada – by 36%, and Sitronics – by 11%. Sharonov declared that by 2009-2010 it is possible to expect the offering boom of the Russian IT companies on stock exchanges. He marked that about IPO plans announced Compulink, Technoserv, Verysell, National Computer Corporation (NCC), Kaspersky Lab, Softline. And Gennadiy Margolit, the MICEX deputy general director, added that the Russian IT companies can begin to attract money on stock exchanges already in 2008.
