KAMAZ OJSC Group of companies is the largest vehicle corporation

of Russian Federation. The production association KAMAZ was founded in 1969.

In June, 1990 KAMAZ became the first jo int-stock company

in the country.

Now KAMAZ OJSC enters the top ten manufacturers of trucks of over 14 tons GVW and occupies 8th place in the world on production volumes of diesel engines.

Within 30 years there has been assembled more than 1,75 mln heavy-duty trucks and over 2,375 mln engines. The authorized capital of KAMAZ OJSC totals RUR 39,3 bln. The largest stock interests belong to the state and commercial banks.

The united production complex of KAMAZ Inc.

comprises the whole technological cycle of truck production – from development, production, assembly of vehicles and components up to sale end products and service tracking.

The basic assets of company are accumulated as its fixed assets of production complex in Naberezhnye Chelnakh. It consists of 13 large special-purpose plants developing, producing, assembling vehicles and components,and also sale end products.

About 52 thousand people work here.

KAMAZ Group of companies consists of over 100 enterprises, including NefAZ OJSC (Neftekamsk city) and Avtopritsep-KAMAZ OJSC (Stavropol city). Share of KAMAZ Inc.

in these two companies is 50% + 1 stock.

KAMAZ OJSC produces the wide range of heavy-duty facilities: trucks (more than 30 models, over 400 modifications, trucks with a right-side steering wheel), trailers, buses, and tractors. Moreover, engines, power-units, tools are produced.

Within the last years the range of KAMAZ OJSC manufactured products has widen considerably.

New models and whole truck lines appeared — from city delivery trucks up to increased lift capacity trucks for exploitation in 120

tons GCW.
