Establishment and structural organization of Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies dates back to 2001. Strategic development plan implemented by the Company management resulted in Volga-Dnepr presentation of the new product on the world market – service of global cargo transportations using unique An-124-100 Ruslan aircraft. Today Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies is a customer-oriented, dynamically developing and high-level professional company that possesses the ramified network of offices and subsidiaries all over the world.

As of today business foundation of Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies is air transportation of cargoes “airport-airport”. Group of Companies is presented in two key segments of international market of air transportations:
•    Super heavy and outsize cargoes transportations by unique ramp aircrafts An-124-100 Ruslan of former soviet production on charter (single) basis all over the world. Volga-Dnepr occupies leading position on this market segment and controls more than 50% this market segment.
•    General cargo transportations on B747 aircrafts according to schedule en-routes between Europe and China. The project was started in 2004. Growth of scheduled transportations is based on the possibilities’ use of the Russian market both as the unique transit territory between Europe and Asia, Asia and the USA on the one hand and due to the potential development of network delivery of the foreign cargoes to Russia on the other.

By 2019 expansion of product portfolio towards intellectual products is planned, development of integrated logistic. The stake of such products should make up over 20% from the general turnover.
